Books In the Delhi Book Fair - Pragati Maidan

Dear Readers,

This time there is a huge amalgamation of both Indie authors and Traditionally Published authors in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.  As I write this post, many memories from childhood come into mind when I used to travel to Delhi for this Book Fair. I would tell my grandpa, that there are so many books in this world, will I ever get a chance to read one? Mark Twain was my grand dad's favorite and I would spend many hours listening to him to read aloud to me Huckleberry Finn and Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

Now Indian writers are making a mark for themselves in the global world. But sadly, in India, there are many who still feel we are not up to the mark. Maybe we are not but how do authors get encouraged to write better and better, if readers like you don't support us by at least visiting our stall when you do go to the Delhi Book Fair?  I am sure there are many authors who are out there whose books are kept on the tables.

Sharing a few I know of:

Finding the Angel by Rubina Ramesh

The Malhotra Bride by Sundari Venkatraman

With You I Dance by Arti V. Raman

Rhythm of Love by Nivedita Verdula

NEVERFOUND LAND by Durriya Kapasi

Have a look, folks! You will not be disappointed.
